Capt. J.L. Stokes, Comdrs B. Drury and G.H. Richards assisted by Messrs F.J. Evans, J.W. Smith, R. Bradshaw, R. Burnett, T. Kerr, J.H. Kerr and P.W. Oke 1848- 1855. published at the Hydrographic Office of the Admiralty 3rd March 1856 Additions to July [no year date following July]. Sold by J.D. Potter Agent for the Admiralty.
Folding sectional map with [?] later hand colouring, coastline outlined in red and blue watercolour [not recent]. 1015 x 650mm. the map does not include the corner inset map ‘Index to the Coast Charts’. Some light soiling and toning, folds into marbled pattern paper panels and is in a contemporary worn slip case, splitting at edges. An early copy of a rare New Zealand map.
