The main map showing principal shipping routes and distances in nautical miles, capitals of countries, other capitals, cities and towns, naval bases, highways, railways, swampy regions, glaciers, reefs, sand, mountains, and areas mandated by Australia, Japan, Great Britain, United States, France, Chile, and New Zealand in red. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Depths shown by contours. is surrounded by small inset maps of many of the large and small islands in the Pacific, including Pitcairn Island, Fiji, the Society Islands, Cook Islands, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, Caroline and Marshall Islands, etc.1020 x 1470mm, a large black & white paper map mounted on cloth. Some light toning and marks, generally VG.
