Condition varies 1844 lacking covers, remainder all with covers some chips and marks, complete G+
New Zealand Colonization Association played a major part in early European settlement of New Zealand. It grew out of the New Zealand Association, formed in 1837 to give expression to the colonising ideas of Edward Gibbon Wakefield.
By 1845 the Company was in financial difficulties and its land holdings were taken over by the Crown. The Company was dissolved in 1858.
