Marbled endpapers, contents clean, 220mm, exlibrary [Victoria Parliamentary library] in half leather binding, brown cloth boards with parliamentary monograms, blind stamp on title, no other library marks. With the book plate of William Rae, Happy Valley.
William Rae was a successful gold miner in Bendigo and was a founder of the Bendigo Art Gallery as well as a collector of rare books.
