The book has had some professional restoration, re-cased in the original full leather boards with the majority of the original spine strip laid on and corners neatly reinforced. New endpapers, and the title page has been laid onto leaf of paper [? original endpaper]. Very neatly and professionally done, contents complete and clean, some browning to New Zealand deity plate, as usual. A nice copy of a rare book, the first account devoted entirely to New Zealand.
