Fully finely carved fighting staff
carved in dark brown wood, upoko and arero feature double rauponga spiral of pākati and haehae, small chips, notched pāua eyes [lacking one]. Eight further sets of eyes dispersed across the shaft some of the shell inlay missing. Various carved patterning throughout. Numbered 91939 in white ink below.
