Original letter on his personal letterhead ‘Peel Cottage’ to his favourite model Maggie Coveny on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
‘Dear thoughtful Maggie, yesterday morning the snowdrops arrived, and gave pleasure. They looked so frail ...’ Mounted in a frame so both sides of the letter can be read and with photographs of both, either side of the letter. Mounted in gilt frame 380 x 700mm.
2. An Essay in the Picturesque - Collotype, signed by the artist, limited edition of 100. Published in 1953, 279 x 395mm mounted and framed.
