Written by James Cook, Commander of the Resolution. In which is included Captain Furneaux’s narrative of his proceedings in the Adventure during the separation of the ships.

Scattered toning, foxing and offsetting, edges trimmed. Bindings to text volumes tight. Folios [boards, 580 & 496mm] are bound in half leather with original marbled boards. The Atlas to the third voyage plates with some foxing and browning.
