Get to know the work of legendary architect and Arts Foundation Icon Sir Miles Warren ONZ KBE with a weekend in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Stay for two nights at new The Observatory Hotel at the Arts Centre, and partake in a guided tour of the city with architectural historian, Dr Jessica Halliday. Highlights include modernist masterpieces the Town Hall, Sir Miles’ and his chums’ iconic first flats, his 70’s office and apartment, and a visit to his home and sculpture garden at Ohinetahi in Governor’s Bay. Finish the weekend off with a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, followed by a tour of the new Ravenscar House Museum. Flights for four included, as well as dinner at Hali.
