An early edition; Children on cover illustrated in white and pink; Half title page has an illustration of a house, verso of title page without imprint but with an illustration of a small boy; Complex illustrations present on p21 and p35, but not on p63, that has been replaced by the 'kidnapping old man' illustration; The first book written by Kate Greenaway. A very nice copy.
