or the Old Nursery Rhymes. Engraved and printed by Edmund Evans. London, George Routledge & Sons, ND inscription dated 1881, first edition. 48 pages. 48 full-page colour illustrations, including frontispiece and titlepage, by Kate Greenaway, a little toning, but overall contents clean and VG. 175mm bound in cloth with so-called "lattice" binding with the inverted G in Goose and with the contents page on the verso of front free endpaper, olive-green endpapers. Inscription dated 1818 on endpaper. Comprises some of Greenaway's finest work.
