[8]p, 253p, Colour frontispiece and 63 colour or monochrome plates with captioned tissue-guards by Harry Rountree. complete with full page plates mostly colour a few black & white. Small sprinkle of foxing mostly round edges, contemporary inscription on endpaper. 235mm, the illustrator's name misspelled "Rowntree" on the front cover. Original green cloth, titles and floral decoration to spine and front cover in gilt and green picturing the Scottish thistle, the English rose, and the Irish shamrock, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour frontispiece and 63 colour or monochrome plates with captioned tissue-guards by Harry Rountree. Light wear at edges and two small rub spots front board, G + copy.
