Paper read before the Hawkes Bay Philosophical Institute October 1879. [63] -150p, 235mm, bound in plain pink wrappers inscribed 'Mr R.C. Harding, with the Kind regards of the Author.' Foxing to covers else mainly clean.
Loosely enclosed a newspaper clipping of a letter by Taylor White dated Wimbledon, December 29, 1893, regarding names derived from moa, with notation in Colenso's hand 'T.W. again !! wrong on every point! A73ll [underlined] that information now sought [underlined] is given in my p, on Moa in Vol XII Trans NZI ....'
