Volume I. lxxxiv, 250p, [6] p of reviews, illustrations, 24 colour plates. Volume II. xv, 3359p, 26 plates [24 coloured]. Some foxing front & back pages, crease on dedication page of volume I. contents and plates, mainly clean. This set bound in the variant red half leather binding with red pebble pattern boards, worn with superficial loss to the surface leather and the spine of volume one with loss to the leather top and bottom of spine, boards speckled and rubbed.
