Elephant. London: East Africa 1933, 1st edition. xi, [5]p, 260p, xxxv, frontis and illustrations. 225mm, rebound in black half leather, with maroon cloth boards, VG. With Kingsley Field's [author & historian] name on endpaper.
A classic of African elephant hunting. Blunt was an elephant control officer in Tanganyika, hunting primarily in the Lindi Provence. He details the natural history and biology of the elephant and relates his experiences.
