Loosely enclosed several newspaper clippings, photographs and what appear to be a 'rough copy' of A letter [dated 14-1-53] by Adkin to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh 'As one of those privileged to be present at the gathering in the Dom Museum for the address by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh... I was impressed by His Royal Highness's wide interest in scientific subjects...' 'and in details of Māori Culture...' and asking him accept a copy of his book.
