London: W & A Strahan for G. Nicol and T. Cadell 1784. 3 quarto volumes and the folio atlas. 88 plates and charts in total. The set has been uniformly rebound in half tan leather with marbled boards, title labels and gilt to spine. The plates from the folio have spasmodic foxing and some of the tissue guards have adhered to the verso of the previous plate, light soiling and finger-marks to margins. The text volumes clean and crisp. The plate of 'Views of the West Coast of North America to the Westward of Cooks River' is lacking and has a second copy of the Chart of Norton Sound in its place. A very tidy set of Cooks third and last voyage.
