The names of the coves and sounds in coloured fonts are taken from a British Admiralty chart, New Zealand, South Island, sheet XII, Fouveaux Strait to Awarua River on the West Coast. Charted by HMS Acheron 1850-51. Bound in grey paper covers with paper title label printed green & yellow, bound in Japanese style with ceramic toggles. Printed on Evergreen spruce paper with handmade paper overlays. Fine.
