PLEASE NOTE: The buyer’s premium for this auction is 19% of the hammer price plus GST on the buyer’s premium (total of 21.85% of the hammer price). This is to be paid on top of any successful bid. The buyer must pay the full amount due not later than 5 days after the auction date.

The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition (some items may be described with A/F, which means “all faults”). Welcome to Art+Object’s first auction for 2023, held exclusively online.

The first part features the Crown Lynn Collection of the prominent Piha resident and architect Peter Joyce. His collection is offered here in it's entirety together with works by Len Castle, Paul Maseyk, Elizabeth Lissaman, Chester Nealie, Ian Firth, Peter Lange and others.

The second part of the catalogue includes a vibrant selection of artworks from Aotearoa and abroad, including works by prominent artists Gordon Walters, Philip Clairmont, Christine Webster, Richard Killeen, Jeffrey Harris, Philip Trusttum, Lonnie Hutchinson, Damien Hirst, Banksy and more.

The timed online auction starts on February 15th and will conclude on February 21st, with lot 1 closing at 5:00pm. Afterwards, lots will close every 15 seconds, with automatic extension if bidding is ongoing.
