Art+Object’s first major art catalogue of 2021 features artworks from the collection of the Wellington gallerist Janne Land, who represented many of Aotearoa’s leading artists such as Ralph Hotere, Michael Smither, Michael Hight, Heather Straka, John Walsh and Paul Dibble. Her collection also includes international works by Pablo Picasso and Edward Weston.

We are also delighted to present the collection of the Ellipsis Group, who, after ten years of passionate collecting and great friendship, is disbanding. Their collection shows a deep appreciation of Aotearoa - New Zealand contemporary art in all its diversity with works by Fiona Pardington, Yvonne Todd, Peter Madden, Ben Cauchi, Martin Basher, Jack Trolove, Seung Yul Oh, Sam Mitchell and Amanda Gruenwald, among others.

Complementing these two fabulous collections are well-provenanced major pieces by Dick Frizzell, Michael Smither, Colin McCahon, Séraphine Pick, Michael Parekōwhai and Gordon Walters.
