[15] pages on linen, printed in oil colours, illustrated by Harrison Weir on 8 leaves; ‘The Cat and the Mouse.’ London Addey & Co [nd ca 1852]. [15] pages on linen, printed in oil colors, 7 illustrations [6 full page] [14]p. Both copies with limp linen cloth covers titled, decorated and illustrated in red. Covers are lightly soiled and the cloth edges frayed and browned. Contents with some fingermarks, generally clean.
2. The Royal Nursery Library [Two Books] ‘Food for the Young’. 32p, Illustrations, original pink illustrated paper covers; ‘My Picture Story Book’. 32p, illustrated. Original blue illustrated covers both 180mm, covers detached and split along spine, some loose pages, light soiling and creases.
3. Dean & Co’s New and Splendid Toy Books. [Two Books] Uncle Buncles Amusing and Original Toy books. ‘New Book of Birds’. 7 full page hand-coloured illustrations facing text; ‘Lord Mayors Show’ 7 hand-coloured illustrations facing text. Both published London: T Dean and Co Threadneedle Steet, [ca 1850] in the original paper covers, worn, spines reinforced with paper [not recent] and with soiling and edge chips and short tears.
