1915 Gallipoli Campaign, usage of a piece of rough cardboard apparently cut from a stores box with hand-drawn ‘stamp’ depicting a smiling soldier & on the reverse his rendering of the ‘[crown/snake]/NZ MEDICAL CORPS’ badge, the message dated “June 27th/1915” is largely illegible from wear, to Hastings with ‘HEADQUARTERS/FIELD/28JU15/POST OFFICE/NZ DIVISION’ cds & superb Censor 2698 stamp in rosine, unusual illustrated usage & remarkably fine.
