Second edition of the 1835 Declaration if Independence signed by Māori Chiefs. Printed at Paihia on the Church Missionary Press by William Colenso, second edition 1837. Single leaf with Nu Tirene in bold and corrections to names of chiefs, printed on white watermark paper. Single leaf 325 x 210mm some silver fish damage to the left margin, a very small hole to the central text, and grey ? smoke mark along top margin [2mm]. Framed & mounted.
