Half title, Poems Traditions, and Chaunts of the Māori. 230mm, bound in purple cloth boards faded and beginning to split along front hinge. Some insect damage to bottom margin of first few pages. Inscribed on half title 'From the Author' and with Esther Levins signature. Laid onto front endpaper, notepaper inscribed 'The Reverend J. Watkin Te Aro. With Sir George Greys Compliments'. Again, with Esther Levin 1936. Sprinkle of foxing on endpapers, contents mainly clean.
The book has been wrapped into a custom made folded paper wrapper with a title label and housed into a blue slip case.
