Vol.I. x, 482p; Vol. II. x, 546p, [no map] 225mm, beautifully bound in full crushed morocco, tooled in gold gilt fillet on boards and spine. With the book plates of Charles Marcus Wakefield on front endpapers of both volumes.
Charles Marcus Wakefield, the distinguished diarist, who surveyed so much of early Canterbury was a nephew of Edward Gibbon Wakefield.
