Art+Object first auction of 2022 is a quality collection of modern design, applied arts and new collectors art. We are particularly pleased to offer works from two significant private collections, of well-known Wellington collector Simon Robinson, and of gallerist Kylie Sanderson, now living in France. Included alongside the Scandinavian furniture and objects in this auction are chairs by the renowned designer Pierre Jeanneret, made for the city of Chandigarh, India in the 1950's.
Due to the current restrictions, this will be a timed, on-line auction. Viewing will proceed as usual, commencing on Friday 25 February, with the necessary Covid-19 precautions. Bidding will open also on February 25 and will begin closing with lot 1 at 6.00pm on Tuesday 1st March. Thereafter lots will close consecutively every 15 seconds until completion. If a lot receives a bid within the last two minutes, it will auto extend for two minutes until bidding stops.
